Please sign in to see more. Simon MOULD/S & his wife Ann DAVIS were both convicts.
Simon MOULDS Trial was in Essex Eng. where he was a labourer. He arrived in Australia on the `Barwell` May 18th 1798 aged 19 1/2 yrs old. Simon was transported for LIFE for stealing a mare, a heifer & a calf along with an accomplice. He was given a Conditional Pardon in 1813 & became a Property farmer at Seven Hills, Sydney.
Ann DAVIS was from Gloucester U.K. & at the age of 15 was found guilty of break, enter & theft of items of clothing & sentenced to 7 years arriving on the `Lady Juliana` June 3rd 1790.
After arriving Ann had children to three other men. 1792 -1796 a son Samuel to Samuel RICHARDS,1796 a daughter Elizabeth to Thomas FOWLES/FOWLER,1799 a son Thomas & 1802 a daughter Mary to Thomas WILLIAMS.
She then began living with Simon MOULDS by 1805 & four children were born. Simon 1805, Susannah 1808, Charlotte 1811 & John G. 1814 but Simon & Ann did not marry until 1820. Simon died in 1843 & Ann in 1854. They are buried in the same grave in St Johns Cemetery at Parramatta, NSW, Australia.
